The Butch Caulfield Hitting Academy is designed to provide the young athlete with the fundamentals to become a consistent hitter.  The Academy is aimed at increasing bat speed and power and to allow the young athlete to improve their offensive game both mechanically and mentally.  The staff is comprised of high school and college coaches, former professional baseball players as well as current players both at the collegiate and professional level.

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Who will be teaching me?

 

Butch Caulfield oversees all lessons and clinics.  Individual Lessons are conducted by Butch Caulfield.  Group, team, and coaches lessons are taught by Butch and his qualified staff.

 

How much attention will I get in a group lesson?

 

Group lessons will be set up with no more than 16 athletes.  The young athlete will go through different stations of drills to improve all aspects of their swing.  Each athlete will be evaluated and the lesson will be based on their strength and weaknesses.

 

What if I just started playing baseball? Will this clinic be too advanced for me?

 

Each athlete will be taught according to their current skill level.  As the athlete’s skill progresses the drills and techniques will become more specific.  No student will be overlooked or left behind.
